AJ Roberts has been riding motorcycles for almost as long as he could walk. From the mere age of seven AJ won his first Australian title and since then has challenged both Motorcross and Enduro events around the world.
Anthony Jae Roberts, who is most commonly known as AJ, grew up on the back of a motorcycle. Living for the first 10 years of his life on a farm in Darwin, AJ grew up riding his first bike, a QR 50, around his property from dawn till dusk. It was however not just for pleasure, as right from a young age AJ was adamant about racing and absolutely loved the thrills involved.
Since his debut riding when he was just 4 years old, AJ has wracked up an astonishing amount of titles all across Australia. He was won over 40 Titles from the Northern Territory that range from 50’s to 450’s, he has won two Aussie Junior Motocross Titles, too his first win in enduro on bored his KX100 winning the 125 class at the 1998 Kamfari 4-Hour Endurance Race. From there he went on to become the youngest rider ever to complete the Australian Safari when he was only 17 years old. Even though he dislocated his shoulder on Day 3, he continued on for the other 5 days to finish the event in the top ten outright on his unstoppable XR400.
From his racing roots in motocross and desert racing, AJ soon picked up on Enduro and represented Australia since 2002 in the prestigious “Olympics of Off Road”, the International Six Days Enduro. Since his debut race in the Czech Republic in 2002, AJ has since travelled to Brazil (2003), Poland (2004), Slovakia (2005), New Zealand (2006), Chilli (2007) and Greece (2008) to represent Australia. He has also added several important peices of hard ware to his trophy case including the 2005, 2006 and 2007 AORC’s outright, Aj is also the first ever Australian Off Road Championship series winner, which was held all over Australia.
AJ is currently residing in Bribie Island, QLD, where he lives with his fiance Naomi Wright, and there three dogs
